JUNIOR HERP Club

Welcome to the San Diego Herpetological Society's Junior Reptile Club!

Get ready for a thrilling journey into the captivating world of reptiles and amphibians with our Monthly Junior Meetings and Events! Led by passionate herpers from the SDHS team, each meeting offers an exciting exploration of different herpetological topics.

In our upcoming virtual Zoom gatherings (and future in-person meetings), young herp enthusiasts will have the chance to learn about a variety of fascinating creatures and their unique features.

From garter snakes, boas and pythons to bearded dragons, geckos, turtles to toads, and more, each meeting brings a new adventure in herpetology!

Our Junior Reptile Club is a fantastic opportunity for kids of all ages (and adults) to learn, connect, and share their love for these incredible animals.

Whether you're a seasoned herp pro or just starting your journey, our meetings provide a safe and engaging space for all young explorers.

Don't miss out on the fun! Be sure to join us on the last Saturday of each month from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm PST for an hour of excitement and learning.

To participate in our upcoming meetings, simply register on the events page.

Join us in discovering the wonders of herpetology, making new friends who share the same passion, and expanding your knowledge about these remarkable creatures!

For any inquiries or additional information, please reach out to our SDHS Junior Coordinator, Jessica Watters, at jrherpclub@sdherpsociety.org.

Let's embark on this herpetological journey together! See you at our next Junior Meeting!

*We need a Junior SDHS team! In order for us to rebuild our in person junior meetings we need to build a team of reliable parents and team members who can help attend and manage our meetings on a regular basis. We do have several libraries and meeting locations available, but we need to make sure we have a consistent team in place. If you are interested in helping with this mission please reach out to our SDHS Junior Coordinator, Jessica Watters, at jrherpclub@sdherpsociety.org
