Looking to help out a rescued reptile in need? SDHS receives many different reptiles available for adoption.
Before you head out to buy a brand new pet, we get an assortment of lizards, snakes, and other reptiles in from people who can no longer care for them. Our species list can vary, but at this time we do have a number of ball pythons, corn snakes, bearded dragons and leopard geckos looking for a new caring owner. If you or anyone you may know is looking for a new reptile pet, please consider a rescue animal.
For more information on available animals please reach out to Tom Derr 619-933-1213 who currently houses our snakes or Susan Nowicke 760-975-9690 firstname.lastname@example.org who keeps our lizards and other species.
We are also always looking for foster homes as well! If you have space available and the appropriate care & setup we are always grateful to have help and assistance for housing our rescue animals.
We receive no monies from government agencies or grants to pay for the cost of housing, feeding and medical treatment of the animals we take in. Many animals arrive in dire need of medical care. Please consider sponsoring a species with a recurring monthly donation by clicking on the Donation link below. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
Sponsorship is an ongoing commitment to assist us in our rescue and rehabilitation efforts. We receive many animals that are in need of expensive medical treatment and ongoing care - without your generous ongoing financial support we do not have the resources to take on these desperate animals. Please consider one of the many monthly options for support through our Support Subscriptions by clicking on the subscribe button on the right. You can also make a single contribution by clicking on the DONATE button above.
