Snakes

San Diego Herpetological Society has a number of snakes available for adoption.  Please be advised that in order to adopt a snake (or any animal we offer) you must demonstrate you possess knowledge in all aspects of keeping the species.  This includes feeding, temperature, lighting and habitat requirements to name a few.  Some snakes are better suited to beginners others to more advanced keepers. Final placement of any snake or adoptive animal is the joint decision of the Adoptions Coordinator and the SDHS Board.  Fees for adoptions are $35 and up dependent on species, coloration and related expenses.

Below are some of the photos of snakes currently available for adoption.  If you are interested in adopting a  snakes please send us an email by clicking HERE.  Please include the species of the snake in your inquiry.
